Tips for Easy & Successful Grilling

  • Use resealable bags to marinate meats and vegetables before grilling.
  • Before grilling meats and vegetables, use a nonstick nonflammable cooking spray formulated for high-temperature cooking on grills to ensure items don’t stick.
  • For good grill marks, let the item stay on the grill for a few minutes before turning. For impressive crosshatch grill marks, grill the item for a few minutes, turn one-quarter rotation, and grill for a few minutes before flipping.
  • Opening and closing the lid lowers the grill temperature, so let the grill heat above your desired grilling temperature before adding items. By the time you place food on the grill and close the lid, the temperature will be perfect.
  • Use long-handled grill tools for easy flipping and turning.
