At a Golden H.E.R.O. (Hearts Everywhere Reaching Out) for Children Awards Gala, a Sweet Savannah getaway was auctioned off, and the top bidder won the opportunity to bring guests to my house for a day with my magazine crew. Georgia-based H.E.R.O. for Children is the only nonprofit in the country focused solely on providing quality-of-life care for children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, and it is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. The winners had a great time getting to meet Bubba, Jamie, and Bobby, and we enjoyed the most wonderfully decadent meal. It was so much fun to share a day of sweet memories together.
